News

May 2016

  • We have had a fabulous Sports Day - slightly overcast and a bit chilly but everyone enjoyed themselves.  We were joined by St Joseph's P1 - P3s and their staff too, which made for a busy, fun event!  Thank you to the families and friends who came along to support the children.

March 2016

  • Friday 18th March - Blackhall's Got Talent for Sport's Relief
    • We are looking forward to our Talent Shows on Friday morning.
    • We are suggesting that the children wear sports wear and bring a donation for Sports Relief.  The entire school will be doing a fun Sports Relief Mile on Friday!
  • P6 Bikeability - Well done to P6 who took part in Bikeability - huge thank you to the parents who supported the children and staff - and a massive thank you to the fabulous Mrs Webster and Mrs Playford for organising and leading this event.
  • The Great Blackhall Big Fairtrade Breakfast competition was announced in assembly 25/2/16. Full details in the downloadable document or from your teacher.  Have a delicious time with your breakfasts as part of Fairtrade Fortnight! (And many thanks to the P6s who appeared in the drama)
  • P1 are visiting the National Museum of Scotland soon to go on a Magic Carpet ride and learn about dinosaurs!
  • Mile a Day - We have all started going for a run regularly around the yellow line track in the playground. It is great to see the enthusiasm of all the pupils to stay fit and healthy by exercising regularly.
